It's Not Your Body That's Hurting Right Now, It's Your Heart.
Although episode 7 had a sweet opening, the memories of how episode 6 ended came rushing out along with the main it caused me. Even though I tried hard to subdue those painful memories and the expression on Tae Yoon oppa's face my heart started to pound and I swear I feel like I was going to have nightmares again.
Anywho, the sweetness that the episode opened with didn't last long and I didn't really buy it either considering Shing-Shing's personality. But it was a cute start (that suddenly had bad memories rushing in!!!!!). The fact that two months have now passed for the two is now a miracle but the bigger issue is how is Shing-Shing's relationship with Tae Yoon oppa, Min Jung unnie, and the witch Se Ryung. Another relationship I was dying to hear about is the love triangle between Hee Jae, her adorable boyfriend, and Woo Young oppa. Okay, I know that the first 4 minutes or so were like a flashback of the time Allen has spent with Shing-Shing since he came back to Korea but how could they give me the same crying scene again. I nearly died the moment I saw Shing-Shing huddled and crying in Allen's arms.........ugh But the moment she stopped crying and wanted to eat was considerably funny. I have to give Shing-Shing her due for being able to switch off her emotions like that. I don't think I would be able to do that in any way what so ever. And thee nick names....the nicknames are the best. (Did you see that bright smile on Tae Yoon oppa's face as he was calling everyone out? Oh why is he so cute?) But for some reason I don't think he is going to be able to do the same thing to Shing-Shing as he has been doing to everyone else. (They have hidden feelings for each other right?)
The next scene is slightly cringe worthy in my opinion. Just after speaking about how twisted Tae Yoon oppa is, the next scene shows him opening a bottle up for Se Ryung's sales success. I swear every time Se Ryung and Tae Yoon oppa talk and Tae Yoon oppa says something that gives Se Ryung hope, I feel like my blood pressure is rising and my head starts to hurt. I honestly don't care how well these two are together or if they are a prefect match and trying again will bring a different outcome for them, I just don't want them together. They definitely can not get a happy ending!!!!!! But Tae Yoon oppa should be happy in the end......(ugh conflicting thoughts >.<). And lets not forget the necklace. How can this woman be fortunate with necklaces. Not only did she have a necklace that was similar to the one Lee PD bought Shing-Shing but she kept the necklace Tae Yoon oppa bought for and calls it her 'good luck charm'. Okay I paraphrased but, you guys get my point, right??? But seriously, Tae Yoon oppa can say the most heartbreaking things in the world....... I'm telling you guys, Tae Yoon oppa has a way of breaking my heart and bending it and then breaking it all over again. Not too long after shutting Se Ryung down , he happens to see the chaotic scene between Se Ryung and Hee Jae and pulls Se Ryung along with him after slightly cooling them down. But the moment Se Ryung put her arms around Tae Yoon oppa I could tell that he was slowly giving into his feelings for her more and more. And the moment he put his hand up on her head and held her all the pieces of my heart started to melt.......I think. I'm still in love with the man but considering Shing-Shing's hidden feelings for Tae Yoon oppa and my devoutness to the female lead, I'm a bit tortured right now.
And another hot issue is my Woo Young-Hee Jae coupling. The office romance is really starting to heat more after Woo Young oppa's subtle confession. (I mean it was seriously subtle. I couldn't tell what happened the moment he said but understood like minutes after). But right after their torturous scene of I like you but I don't want to like you-I'm being respectful of your boyfriend thing, we are thrown into the world of the ever productive Shing-Shing. This is the moment where we learn some new words of wisdom from Allen. Something about drowning so you can see the bottom and find you true feelings. Aigoo, Allen sounds smarter and smarter every episode while Shing-Shing and I are falling into a train wreak over our feelings for Ta eYoon oppa and Se Ryung. Oh yeah we also learn something important about Allen's past and what he was like in the States. And the never failing Allen always manages to set the record straight by showing Shing-Shing that he is a man he at moments like these.....(I feel like his timing is getting better). Further down memory lane we Shing-Shing doesn't even remember the emotions she taught him through the piano. I clearly felt what Allen was trying to do and when he played the 'painful song' but Shing-Shing was still being dense about it I nearly fell out of my chair (since I have a bad habit of sitting on the edge). But Shing-Shing managed sadness!
But the next scene was a bit annoying. I was happy to see Tae Yoon oppa's smiling face but I wasn't happy that Se Ryung was with him. I seriously have mixed feelings about these two being in the same room.....and with good reason. Tae Yoon oppa obviously couldn't hold in his feelings any and neither could I. The moment Tae Yoon oppa kissed Se Ryungsshi my breathing all but stopped and my jaw dropped.... My vision started t get blurry and then the impossible to foresee bed scene came out of nowhere and I could hear myself say "Andwae! Oppa andwaeyo! Tae Yoon oppa andwae! Chincha chincha andwae" And the tears were rolling but my love for the man has not faded. But the next scene cheered me up a bit. How these couples fair in the remaining episodes is the bigger question.
Anywho, Lee Min Jung unnie finds out that she is pregnant and Shing-Shing goes to visit her. Then Shing-Shing finds out that Min Jung unnie is pregnant and of course she doesn't know how to deal with the situation. And it seems as though Shing-Shing has this new found dependency on Allen and his wisdom on relationships and human interactions even though she was the one who taught him in the first place. Even worse Tae Yoon oppa and Se Ryung have openly put their relationship out there forcing Allen to comfort a broken-hearted and bewildered Shing-Shing as well as tell her of her own feelings. Ugh how can this episode have ended that way.
