I Need Romance 3:Episode 5

Episode 5 came and took me by complete surprise!!!! ^-^ How can Tae Yoon oppa's cuteness exceed the normal level of cuteness. ughhhhh!!!!

Anywho, this episode opens up with Shing-Shing and Allen and the realization that Shing-Shing was absolutely dense towards for the past 4 episodes. But I have to give Shing-Shing some points, it was a bit shady and unrealistic that he didn't come out and say who he really was to her from the start but instead threw hints at her to help her figure it out on her own. But still as smart and preceptive Shing-Shing seems to be at work, it doesn't seem to be doing her any good in her love life or personal life for that matter. All of Allen's hints were so wide open that he practically reenacted all of the important moments with her but she still didn't get it. (2 points for Allen's cleverness and -1 point for not getting his point across clearly enough for the emotionally dense).

Anywho, while Allen was driving Shing-Shing to work, Min Jung is having a hard time comprehending how her hot Friday night guy ended up moving in next door to her (as am I). I mean of all the places to move in to, it had to be the apartment next door. But I kind of wish Min Jung unnie would get her act together and confront the issue. She can't hide from him the fact that she currently lives next door to him.........
But down to really important matters, the fact that Tae Yoon oppa told Shing-Shing that he finds her the most attractive when she smiles only at him and moments after when he was super shy about it had my heart in a fit. I absolutely loved and adored him in that moment and I think I will continue to love his character even more after this (fingers crossed).

Anywho, Allen proceeds to answer the question of when he started to love Shing-Shing for himself and with flashbacks we get to see the moment when a drunk Shing-Shing tells Allen that no one loves her. To be honest that was the moment I felt the most pity for Shing-Shing but I'm not Allen nor the writers so in the position of Shing-Shing I fail to believe that that is when he truly started to love her but will feign ignorance and believe it to be pity on his part. (I have to think from both sides you know).
But the answer Allen gave Shing-Shing turned out to be different fro the one that he gave himself and my jaw dropped in astonishment. I mean, I feel the same way about love. You shouldn't have a reason for loving someone other than the fact that you love them and if you do have a reason and that reason suddenly goes away then you would no longer have a reason to love that person . *sigh* Wow Allen, just wow. My faith in him is renewed and my obsession with Shing-Shing's stubbornness has grown as well. (How can the woman be so stubborn about matters of the heart. You can't always feel with you head but your heart right?)

But wow, Shing-Shing is really cold towards Allen. I mean the way she relayed her version or the complete version of the so called fun times Allen had with Shing-Shing really stopped me in my tracks. Of course when you have a crush on someone you want to do good things for them and as a kid I guess you can unintentionally do things to hurt them instead but wow, just wow. (Selective memory Allen). Fortunately Shing-Shing feels bad about how harsh she was towards Allen when she let him know of her past memories of him and why she 'hates' him so much. I don't know how but Shing-Shing always manages to cover for herself when she is being mean to Allen. (Darn flashbacks with good timing).
Unfortunately, this is the moment that Allen fell even more in love with Shing-Shing......anyone else smell more trouble.

And boy was I right! The next scene shows my two favorite juniors Hee Jae and Woo Young drinking Hee Jae's favorite alcohol before she gets a text from her boyfriend. Out of all the side relationships I think Hee Jae is the one struggling the most. Woo Young doesn't even have a girlfriend (so far) in this series so he doesn't have any side dramas to deal with but poor Hee Jae. Why is it so hard for her boyfriend to pass the exams and get a job. It seems to be really hard for Hee Jae who is working doubly hard at work and in the relationship to save up money for themselves. But the most important part in this scene is the moment I knew they were going to kiss. I swear everything around me stopped, even my breathing and that's when I knew there was trouble. Woo Young is such a sweet guy but I blame alcohol for all their troubles and just like Hee Jae I'm having a hard time telling her boyfriend about what happened and whether she should tell him at all........ugh but she should right? Even worse, being at the office doesn't help anything and relationships between certain people just get worse.

Everything with Hee Jae and Woo Young are awkward now and Shing-Shing has the nerve to talk to Tae Yoon oppa the way she did but I will give her the benefit of the doubt for this incident. I mean Tae Yoon oppa is someone she looks up to and he unfortunately dated and really loved someone she can't stand. If I were in Shing-Shing's position I would have been really upset and confused with Tae Yoon oppa and probably lashed out just as severely.....ugh. But while Shing-Shing and Tae Yoon oppa are ending their awkward conversation, Min Jung and her Friday night date are starting theirs and boy is it funny. Not only does Min Jung find out that her nick name is "senior citizen who lives alone" but now her date also feels pity for her.......(lol).
And Tae Yoon oppa is just jumping from one confrontation to the next. (I literally loved the fact that he smiled when he saw the dog but not really at Se Ryung). Why was Se Ryung there. Was she waiting for him? Did the  bartender tell her when he would usually be there? Ugh I was officially frustrated at the fact that she was there and I hated it even more that she knew that without love there is no hate.......ugh. Stop thinking you have a chance and Tae Yoon oppa, fighting!!!

And as for the last scene where Shing-Shing hurriedly calls Tae Yoon oppa to apologize for being rude to him (thank you for apologizing), she finds out that he drank too much and rushes to go pick him up. To be honest if I were her I probably would have packed some clothes for myself and go to his house. (I wouldn't put it past her to already know his passcode or to get it out of him but that's just me hoping for too much). But the real funny moment is when Allen comes early in the morning to find him coming out of the shower (fresh out the shower) and Allen gets all jealous and Shing-Shing is all flustered and doesn't know what to do. (This is what I call a priceless moment).

Anywho, I beyond can't wait for the next episode and to see what happens between these three.
