It's Not That I'm Uncomfortable, It's That I'm Nervous And Excited
Episode 3 has me feeling this title, literally. I genuinely felt excited and maybe a little nervous at the development of Shing-Shing and Allen's relationship. So here is my step by step rundown.
Of course we get the barrage of flashbacks from last week and then immediately start off with the whole can you take me to this hotel question that had Shing-Shing totally flustered. Of course as the viewer, we already know why he is asking her but Shing-Shing is beyond confused and I am starting to feel just as excited and nervous as she is........but I'm not the only right? *looks around*
Anywho, the scene with Se Ryung and Lee PD had me gasping for air. I mean I absolutely couldn't believe that Alex oppa could be so mean but the fact that he was only testing her let me breathe out a sigh of relief and then start gasping in a panicked rage. I mean if she had only grabbed on to him they could be happily together but no.....ugh I am completely frustrated at the situation but this still opens a door for Allen to sweep Shing-Shing off her feet. (Still mentally frustrated with the whole Lee PD and Shing-Shing issue though). On a side note: I do kinda want Shing-Shing and Lee PD to fix this misunderstanding between them even if they don't get back together. I mean she has lost her interest in love because of that misunderstanding. :(
But did anyone see how Shing-Shing and Tae Yoon oppa completely switched and were all like 'we should have Se Ryung on our team because she is the most capable person on the list', rant. I didn't know Tae Yoon oppa's issue with Se Ryung but I can tell from the way he first glanced at the picture of her on the projector that the two have a bit of bad blood between them. Of course I later figured out that Tae Yoon oppa had previously dated the evil Se Ryung and I can understand his expression better now but I really want to know is, "How is he going to handle working with her?"
Anywho, I absolutely started dying of laughter when I saw the scene of Lee Min Jung getting ready in her apartment simultaneously with the guy she was seeing and then the fact that he left his apartment a minute before she did was hilarious. If he was a minute slower they would have realized that they live next door to each other or they would have met at the elevator and be like 'omo, what are you doing here?' and be all flustered about seeing each other..........ugh I wanted that to happen so badly. I'm starting to wonder what he really does for a living and if he is as good as she thinks he is.
In the next scene I love how Allen lets himself into Shing-Shing's home and gets comfortable while simultaneously reminiscing of his times in that home. It was just so cute and sweet to see that I couldn't help but say 'awww, he is too cute'. I seriously can't wait to see how they manage to live together and how Shing-Shing responds to finding out who Allen Joo is, her 'Sweet Potato'. But the two side romances of Lee Min Jung and Jung Hee Jae leave me feeling a bit jealous. I mean why do they have such hot guys to run to when they want. I do kinda feel a bit sorry for Min Jung's man since he doesn't seem to know Min Jung's true identity but I do love their care freeness. And when I think of Hee Jae, I automatically think 'adorable'. I mean they look so cute together!!!!!
So the situation with Tae Yoon and Se Ryung had me a little upset. She clearly cares for Tae Yoon oppa more than she's letting on just like Shing-Shing did with Lee PD but is too prideful to let him know that. I am eternally confused and upset about how she is treating my Tae Yoon oppa. But the ending where Shing-Shing and Allen kiss is absolutely amazing and exciting. I can't believe that she hasn't figured out that he is her 'Sweet Potato' yet. Shing-Shing is starting to look really dense right now because of that.
Anywho, Min Jung eventually finds out the her new neighbor is her Friday night hot date and she is beyond flustered at the issue. He really does seem like a sweet guy and who wouldn't want to live next to a hot guy like him. Oh right, Min Jung unnie since she has been lying to him about who she really is since they met. And let's not forget the fights between our forever cute couple. Hee Jae is absolutely right with her frustration with her boyfriend and he doesn't seem to understand that but every time I look at his face men she gets mad at him my anger slips away like magic and I feel that neither I nor anyone else has a need to be upset with him anymore. But I do wish he would hurry up and pass the exam and get a job!!!!!
And this is where I am ending my commentary for now.
Over all this episode has a sad and sweet feel to it. Shing-Shing and Allen's relationship makes me feel excessively sad.
