I Need Romance 3: Episode 12

No Matter What, I'll Stay Next To You

Okay so this episode has a lot of feels for me.....just saying.

So the episode starts out with Shing-Shing and Allen crossing the street together. It's actually more like Allen following Shing-Shing out of worry and silently beating himself up for telling Shing-Shing not to be with Tae Yoon oppa and insisting that he should keep on smiling and being Shing-Shing's support system. But I think Allen is slowly realizing that that isn't really what love is, at least not all of what love is.

Anywho, Shing-Shing finds herself at her little hideout and Allen is stubbornly sitting outside because Shing-Shing told him not to follow her inside even though she kinda wanted him to come in like he usually did. After talking to the owner, Allen meets a worried Tae Yoon oppa outside of their door and the confrontation between the two begins (again). Either way by the end of this very heated conversation Allen seems to have put himself back in the supporters section, once again becoming the ever-so-interesting second male lead. I mean honestly, if he loves Shing-Shing, he shouldn't be so passive about his approach to her but then again I completely understand his way of thinking and I continue to realize the growing similarities and differences between Tae Yoon oppa and Allen:
1) For starters, they are both nice and caring passionate men, who love and hurt with all their souls.
2) If you look at their personalities, they are both very straightforward men.
3) If you think about it, they could both end up as a second male lead with their slightly passive attitudes towards love.
4) The biggest difference between the two is that Tae Yoon oppa has roughly hardened himself for work and when work is concerned. Allen is all around passionate especially when the one he loves is around.

Anywho, Tae Yoon oppa meets up with Shing-Shing at her hideout in order to comfort her. Which leaves room for him to mend the heart he recently broke and a chance for their relationship to grow stronger (....or so I'd like to think). And of course Shing-Shing's thought are the same as mines; people in love really only do see and hear what they want to and ignore the rest but that isn't a completely bad thing (unless the person you love is a serial killer and your just ignoring his odd habits or something a little less gruesome like he's cheating on you with a supposed close friend......). Ignoring my little side rant, I believe that Shing-Shing and Tae Yoon oppa have a very cute relationship. Despite the fact that Shing-Shing listens to Tae Yoon oppa a bit too well and tries not to smile when he says not to, they are still a cute couple. I love how Tae Yoon oppa opened up his heart even more for Shing-Shing and told her his thoughts on the situation and his true, genuine feelings for her. It made Shing-Shing and I smile at how Tae Yoon oppa really is. And to be honest, Tae Yoon oppa does seem to be a bit 'shabby' in a relationship, but cool and 'decent' as a boss. And while Shing-Shing and Tae Yoon oppa are getting over their first relationship bump, Allen is worrying over whether it was right to tell Tae Yoon oppa where Shing-Shing is and if Shing-Shing will stay out all night.

But forgetting this odd love triangle with Allen, Shing-Shing, and Tae Yoon oppa, this next scene gives me my current favorite couple of Min Jung unnie and Ha Joon oppa. This next scene shows Ha Joon oppa trying to figure out why Min Jung unnie had the new mothers letter in her mail box and if she had recently given birth. What he decides to do is instead barge into her house to check it out himself. Of course, Min Jung unnie is too tired to give herself a reason not to open the door and just does what he wants. But again when Min Jung unnie is given the chance to tell Ha Joon oppa the truth, she instead lies about it and making me want to pull my hair out all at once. But of course, Ha Joon oppa isn't buying that story and lets Min Jung unnie know that he wants to be apart of her planning. Honestly Ha Joon oppa looks really sexy at this moment but his sexy moment doesn't last for long the moment he starts asking how many months she's been pregnant, he just looks really cute and I can't help but smile and think 'awwwwww'. I seriously wonder about these two and how they will end up.

But enough about my exciting couple and back to my main couple. Tae Yoon oppa has walked Shing-Shing home and shows a little of his jealousy. He does this though by first offering to go to his place instead but after being turned down asks how long Shing-Shing will let Allen stay with her. (Honestly, that is a good question). Finally, inside Shing-Shing goes looking for Allen instead of going into her room where she would most definitely find him. And they respectively fall asleep and wake up in each others rooms. Of course in the morning Allen is the first to wake up and is going off on a rant about how Shing-Shing spent the night out to finally look at his phone and find her sleeping on his bed. It actually saddened my heart to see how quickly the smile appeared on his face, and no trace of his anger. It's even more unsettling how the two people living in that house are deeply in love with someone but it doesn't seem as though that love will work out.

Anywho, it's a new day and a new couple. Okay, not necessarily a new couple but more like the tragic support couple. With each new episode I'm starting to feel as though Woo Young oppa is Hee Jae's support team and vice versa. But the reappearance of Ji Seung (Hee Jae's ex) oppa makes me feel completely better about their break up and once again in disagreement with Woo Young oppa and his opinion of Hee Jae. (Seriously, if one likes the other more, that one becomes a complete fool. Main examples are Allen, Shing-Shing, Tae Yoon oppa, and Woo Young oppa). I mean if you look at how Hee Jae treated Ji Seung oppa in the relationship and all she seemed to care about, then yay their break up was imminent and Hee Jae didn't really help the relationship grow like she thought she might. On the other hand Woo Young's love struck eyes are too blind to see the full story. It's either that or he's deliberately ignoring the facts and just being the guy who supports her in everything.

And speaking of office couples, the main office couple comes into play and Tae Yoon oppa is the subject of rumors just like Se Ryung wanted and doesn't seem to know what to do or how he may need to comfort Shing-Shing if the time comes. Of course Shing-Shing takes the initiative and comforts Tae Yoon oppa giving them a very cute moment. Even getting a text from Shing-Shing has Tae Yoon oppa smiling like a kid and even more, Shing-Shing is promoted to director and gets her own company. Of course during all of the celebrating Se Ryung has to let in her two-bits about wanting to part from Shing-Shing and her new company........ugh. Even if parting won't help Se Ryung in anyway possible and would be more decremental to Se Ryung than to Shing-Shing it seems that Se Ryung's pride has gotten the better of her judgement.

Of course, after hearing this, Shing-Shing goes to the one person who would whole-heartedly listen and  is completely open-mined to everyone's situation. And fortunately while allen is explaining the laws of being in love and the effects of a broken heart, Se Ryung is seen telling her assistant that she has no actual plans to leave Shing-Shing's team at the moment but instead wants to see Shing-Shing beg her to stay. Unfortunately, I get the feeling that if Shing-Shing were to still confide in Tae Yoon oppa as she does Allen, that she might get a slightly similar reaction but Tae Yoon oppa would be the one to approach Se Ryung and try and get her to stay on with the project. And of course having Tae Yoon oppa going to see Se Ryung isn't a good idea at all.

Anywho, Allen is officially the most frustrating character and his day dreams/imaginations are the most confusing. In this slight day dream Shing-Shing are at home and the most confusing situation happens....at least for me it is. But it's also really understandable that Allen would think that......

Anywho, Tae Yoon oppa finds out about Se Ryung's sudden plans to leave and suggests talking to Se Ryung for Shing-Shing but is turned down that offer and thankfully he doesn't try to talk to Se Ryung about the situation either. And even thought Shing-Shing knows about Se Ryung's tough situation she makes a slight mess of the situation by lying to Se Ryung about her next business plans and then goes out on a date with Tae Yoon oppa? Anywho, the episode ends awkwardly with Tae Yoon oppa walking in on the exact moment that Shing-Shing gives Allen an excited hug which makes them look like an intimate couple. I can't wait for the next episode to see how Tae Yoon oppa's jealousy and insecurities will unfold in this relationship with Shing-Shing........
