Episode 2 came and left me in shock. From start to finish I was confused as to what everyones status was. It's not like I'm trying to be dumb or anything but I'm just genuinely slow to the feelings being projected. I mean everything happened so fast that I even re-watched the episode a couple of times.....*sigh*
Anywho, this episode opens up with Allen in the mist of an interview before he goes into a flashback of the night he saw Shing-Shing again for the first time. The flashback starts with a recap of the argument Shing-Shing had at the club with Se Ryung and then goes into Allen following Shing-Shing out. Back at the home Allen grew up in, we get to see yet another flashback of a young and sweet Shing-Shing and a crying Allen bearing the news that he will be living in the States. After starring at the front of the house for a while Allen leaves to suddenly find a drunk Shing-Shing. She was apparently drinking her sorrows away because she sadly tells Allen what she is thinking and looks quite pitiful. Their conversation was very enlightening as well.
"Rather, that person taught me how to express emotions with music."
A little while later Shing-Shing drunkenly walks home with a sober Allen fast on her heals and the sight is quite amusing. Shing-Shing's drunken behavior was quite humorous to watch and slightly pitiful too. The fact that she said her house code aloud while entering her house was extremely dangerous to herself and I'm slightly glad that Allen was there watching out for. (And I mean that as in he was the only one around). While inside Shing-Shing does the whole 'reminisce about ex' thing and we get to see miniature flashbacks of when the two were still together and I suddenly feel even sadder for her and wonder what his reason for breaking up really was......?
Of course later on after Allen checks to see if the number Shing-Shing blurted out was really her house code, Shing-Shing's three co-workers all showed up to cheer her up. And sharing the latest gossip amongst each other is a typical must when friends gather together. Unfortunately the latest gossip involved Shing-Shing finding out that everyone knows about her break up and how they know about it, as well as hearing the juicy details of the heated relationship between Lee Min Jung (played by Park Hyo Joo) and her mystery professor partner person. Anywho, it was a night of fun.
And as usual, all nights of fun are ruined when day breaks and they had to go to work together. Again the relationship between Shing-Shing and Tae Yoon oppa is irrevocably adorable. I feel like they even have this whole teacher's pet relationship going on but Shing-Shing gets to tell him off while simultaneously getting rewarded for all of her previous good work. Anywho, as soon as Tae Yoon oppa give Shing-Shing a sort of task, and she rushes off to finish the task at had while slightly brushing past her ex boyfriend. I honestly think what she told him in the cafeteria at work made him feel more uncomfortable and resign. But then all hell breaks loose when she discovers that her ex has up and quit on her.........

At Lee PD's house......*sigh* All I have to say is, 'It is never to late for a cat fight......'. I mean seriously. Earlier on in the episode when Allen met withSe Ryung for breakfast and she told Allen that she would have preferred for Shing-Shing to slap her than to cut her off, well she got her wish later that day when Shing-Shing slapped her. On a side note, 'Poor Allen's car'. It was hilarious how she attacked Allen's car when she thought it was Se Ryung's and then she had the nerve to complain about getting cut in the process....... Oh please, I think we all know she was just trying to get Allen to let her off the hook.
Off to the pharmacy we go.....and more flashbacks to show. I think the majority of this episode was centered on Allen's childhood memories and his reminicent feelings for Shing-Shing. I mean he literally threw everything she taught him.....well he is currently still throwing what she taught him in her face and making her feel slightly bad about. Ugh, I wonder how these two will develop. Seriously?

My favorite quotes from this episode are:
"Rather, that person taught me how to express emotions with music."
"No one in this world can be counted on except for me. That in the end everyone becomes just another stranger."
