Answer Me 1994 Episode Two

So this is the second episode and I just have to ask, "Why does everyone keep walking in on Samchunpo????". Lol the shower scene with him is just hilarious but you can see the bond between Samchunpo and Haitai growing in this episode as well...........As well as my heart breaking. The end of episode Broke. My. Heart. Literally. And only because it ended and episode three wasn't already out.

These two make such a cute couple. I'm rooting for them to be the married couple in the end of the series........

The bickering buddies are so close and comfortable with each other in their sleep....but wait til they wake up. lol







I also have to admit when I first saw that episode 2 was out, I was a little antsy about what happened in episode 1 and anticipating the long awaited appearance of my Sun Woo oppa. But then, before introducing my Sun Woo oppa they gave me the shock of my life in letting me know that Na Jung's older brother had died when they were children........I mean I thought she and Trash oppa were really related so I was beyond bewildered about what was going on.

Anywho, let me run through what really happened in episode 2 of Answer Me 1994.

So the first scene literally brings up the question I started with, "Why does everyone keep walking in on Samchunpo?". I mean the poor boy is trying to take a shower when not only Haitai but then Trash then appa, and then Na Jung. The poor boy is crotching in the shower anticipating more people coming in and disturbing his shower time and being extremely unconcerned about his presence minus appa, who was completely distrubed by it.

So let's break down why each person comes in:

Haitai - to wash his face

Trash - to use the toilet for a long, long time. But I love how Trash doesn't know who anyone is....Geugeos-eun neomu gwiyeowo!!!!!! Kawaii!!!

Appa - poor appa is trying to get everyone down to the table to eat breakfast and sees a naked Samchunpo in the shower. Poor appa!

Na Jung - she just goes in to hand Trash oppa his mail and flush the toilet for him. I don't even think she notices Samchunpo is in the bathroom at all. 

Now for the next scene. The scene literally right after the shower scene, when they are sitting at the table eating breakfast. This is hands down the best because of how Na Jung knows her oppa so well. Not only does she remind him that he needs to leave the house for his practical training but she knows what he is looking for every time he calls her name. Here are 2 reasons why I want to have a relationship like Na Jung and Trash oppa: 

1) the glasses are on the table by the t.v., and

2) he didn't bring his bag home and his wallet is in the pants he wore yesterday
3) he buys her all the junk food she wants after telling her not to eat it.
4) he cares for her while she is in the hospital and babies her. I wish someone would baby me like that if I were ever to be in pain. I think I might need to redirect them to this episode of this drama. 

But now let's get into the reasons why Haitai and Samchunpo don't like each other: 

Haitai                                                               Samchunpo

1) he's too dirty for Samchunpo                      1) he's too neat for Haitai

2) he plays video games too much                  2) he's too polite

OMG! Don't even get me started on what happened at the basketball game. Right after Na Jung shows signs of having a bad back she goes to a basketball game and jumps around as usual for her Sang Min oppa and ends up hurting her back so badly that when we see her at home she is lying on the floor in her room and Trash oppa is rubbing her hair hoping she would fall asleep. But it's so cute how in the morning when he is leaving he buys her the junk food she wants and then goes off for his practical training. I mean you really need to see this to understand why I think this scenes is so cute. Kawaii!!!!

Now I bet if you guys haven't already seen this episode and how Trash oppa takes care of Na Jung while she is home from after the game then you haven't seen how she is taken care of while in the hospital. It will make you fall even more in love with Trash oppa and his sweet personality that we didn't realize was really there in episode 1. Chinchiyo or Jinjjayo (how ever its really spelt). Watch this episode and fall in love with the series like I already have.

And now for the blind dates:
Blind Date: So the guys go on a double blind date. Yes Samchunpo and Haitai go on a double blind date and end up ruining it. I can't explain it with words yet but they manage to ruin it in a spectacular way. But let me say this, I love the guest appearances of Dalshabet's Woo Hee and Kim Min Young. I love Kim Min Young, she is such an adorable actress that knows how to fight. And oh my goodness why is Hong Suk Chan oppa in this episode. It nearly killed me that he played the guy guy of all people.

Son-in-law Candidate #1

Major: Computer Engineering
Family Background: Family owns the largest bus company in Sooncheon, father is president of the company.
He is the first cutest member in the group. ^-^ heehee



Son-in-law Candidate #2

Nickname: Samchunpo
Birthplace: Samcheonpo, Donggeumdong, Gyungnam
Major: Computer Engineering
Family Background: Family owns fishing boats. About 3 of them and they cost him roughly 15 million won.
He isn't the cutest one in the group.....he isn't cute at all but I mean his family is rich. He is also the youngest in his family. 

Son-in-law Candidate #3

Nickname: Bingrae
Birthplace: Chunganmyun, Hogeunri, Chungbok
Major: Pre-med
Family Background: Family owns a medical practice
Bonus is that he is super cute and is played by my Sun Woo oppa. Fight oppa!!!!







Son-in-law Candidate #4

Nickname: Daechidong Chil Bong
Birthplace: Eunma Apartments, Daechidong, Seoul
Major: Athletics (Yonsei Baseball team)
Family Background: Is currently unknown to me.
Bonus is that he is also supper cute and plays Sun Woo oppa's cousin, so he is definitely supper cute. He is also tall and appears to be really strong.





Son-in-law Candidate #5

Nickname: Trash
Birthplace: Sanhodong, Masan
Major: Med
Family Background: moleugess-eoyo....at least not yet. 

On a side note I have to let you guys know that you will be seeing Haitai oppa's sexy body.....well upper body at least for a brief moment. And more of those adorable smiles from Trash oppa as well as the two new faces, Sun Woo oppa and Yun Suk oppa (he plays Chil Bong the baseball player).

Issues I had with this episode: 

1) Why did the scenes cut like that. I mean when they were talking about the people that previously stayed with them and started talking about the producer guy, they kinda repeated the same scene unnecessarily.
2) I mistakenly thought that Trash oppa was some weird pervert doctor that came to visit Na Jung while she was in her hospital room.
3) Baro, whom I will go back to calling Sun Woo oppa, doesn't get enough screen time. -_- +-+ +_+ ugh!!!!!

Things I liked about this episode: 

1) Trash oppa and Na Jung's background story.....although I wish they would give more in the future. 

2) The story about the past roommates. The ROTC guy, the producer guy, and the genius. 

3) How Trash takes care of Na Jung in both the hospital and at home. But I think he was nicer to her at the hospital than at home........I wish I had an oppa like Trash oppa. He just spoils her.

I have a confession, after this episode I decided that Trash oppa is the first guy in this show I wanted to marry......and I'm holding a little bet that he is the one that she marries....

Anywho, watch the show and I hope you enjoy it as much as I am so far.
